Director of Business Development and Partnerships

Cambium Carbon is seeking a highly skilled Director of Business Development and Partnerships to join our Impact team. This role will be responsible for fostering new projects and partnerships that drive business growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities for Cambium Carbon.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private landowners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement wood utilization programs that promote environmental justice and climate resiliency.
- Identify and secure funding opportunities to support project implementation.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and outcomes reporting.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, and/or partnership management.
- Demonstrated track record of fostering new programs and/or organizational partnerships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working in or with nonprofits and local governments, and/or with land management, forestry, or biomass utilization preferred.
Cambium Carbon is a mission-driven startup that tackles key environmental challenges in supply chains. We utilize our Traece technology to salvage fallen lumber and transform it into Carbon Smart Wood, a carbon-negative building material. Our team operates nationally, with a headquarters in Baltimore, MD. This role is open to remote candidates.
What We Offer- Competitive salary range: $95,000 - $115,000 (commensurate with experience).
