Risk Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team at the Administrative Office of the Courts in Kentucky. As a Risk Assessment Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing the risk of individuals in the pretrial process.
Key Responsibilities:- Document and communicate risk assessment information
- Maintain the quality of risk assessment data
- Perform pretrial officer duties, including preparing affidavits
- Conduct administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
- Communicate risk assessment concepts and processes
- Analyze and interpret data for trends affecting program outcomes
- Process information by compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, and auditing
- Provide statistical reports to other departments
- Translate and explain information to stakeholders
- Develop processes to monitor the validity of risk assessment
- Implement risk assessment models or methodologies
- Produce reports and presentations outlining findings and recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1 year of pretrial risk assessment experience, statistical analysis, and/or research experience
- Ability to pass FBI clearance to obtain NCIC certification
- Extensive knowledge of pretrial risk assessment methodology and research
- Extensive knowledge of best practices in the field of pretrial services
- Extensive knowledge of the Kentucky court system
- Extensive knowledge of criminal history investigation at a nationwide level
Work is typically performed in detention centers and judicial center offices. May include nights, weekends, and holidays. Extensive travel will be required.
