Director of Marketing and Communications

The Director of Marketing and Communications at Medical Teams International is responsible for leading all marketing and communications functions, including revenue responsibility for mass and mid-level donor segments. This role contributes to the organization's calling by building brand awareness, acquiring new mass and mid donors, engaging supporters, and converting engagement into charitable gifts.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee fundraising and engagement of mass and mid-level donors, with responsibility for overall fundraising results as well as donor retention, reactivation, and acquisition.
- Build and ensure execution of an overall marketing strategy that starts with outcomes and works back to core strategies, tactics, and resource allocation.
- Represent and lead the marketing aspects of industry partnerships, e.g., Integral, and Global Alliance.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to provide donors with superior service and build affinity with donors and move them through the pipeline.
- Develop and manage a strategy for church engagement, including segmentation modeling, communications channels, content/offer strategy, and success measures.
- Support planned giving efforts across the organization, including web content, programmatic outreach, and major donor engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 8 years of marketing experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing direct reports.
- Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- People and team management experience, with demonstrated skills in building high-performance teams.
