  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators, in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Store and label food items according to company policies and procedures, ensuring that all products are properly dated and rotated.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of food products.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs.
  • Assist in the cross-training of employees, ensuring that all team members have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a senior cook or kitchen management role.
  • Proven track record of preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of food service associates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety and sanitation.
