Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our process engineers, manufacturing planning, facilities/maintenance, and general safety/environmental strategy implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, administering, and supervising the activities of the manufacturing process engineering function for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
  • Work closely with Quality Control and manufacturing team to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing equipment
  • Evaluate producibility of new designs through application/implementation of various process techniques and equipment capability studies
  • Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews for staff
  • Develop and manage manufacturing engineering budget and expenses
  • Develop narratives for administrative and technical proposals regarding various manufacturing activities and capabilities
Requirements
  • Excellent Health, Safety, Environmental and Facilities leadership skills
  • Experience in using ERP, preventative maintenance/calibration, shelf life, and OSHA compliance tracking systems
  • Advanced knowledge and skill set of Lean Manufacturing philosophies and implementation
  • Ability to support cross-functional teams with smart/digital factory initiatives
  • Project Planning and Scheduling skills
  • Production process development/line balancing and layout implementation
  • Analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, CAD, Solid works, etc.)
