Job Summary

The Executive Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items. This role requires a high level of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Culinary Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of culinary staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of safety and quality, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Cost Control: Work with our finance team to manage our food costs, ensuring that we are operating within our budget.
Requirements
  • Culinary Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Certifications: ServSafe certified and certified food service manager.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
