The Contact Center Training Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our patients by designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for the Patient Access Center. This includes developing skills in customer service, understanding policies and procedures, and mastering relevant systems and platforms. The specialist will facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, provide initial training, and conduct ongoing skill development for existing staff. Responsibilities also encompass retraining and cross-training personnel on new initiatives, as well as ensuring that all team members maintain their competencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training initiatives for Patient Access Center personnel
  • Establish orientation programs for new hires
  • Provide continuous training and support for staff
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to uphold customer service excellence
  • Maintain proficiency in all relevant systems and applications
  • Analyze processes for potential automation enhancements
  • Administer competency assessments before and after training sessions
  • Create leadership development programs for supervisors and team leaders
  • Foster an engaging and positive learning atmosphere
  • Comply with organizational competency standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Contact Center environment
  • At least 2 years of experience in training and facilitation
  • Proficient in PC and software applications
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Adept at creating engaging training materials
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to tailor training approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles
