Job Summary

Syntegon Technology is a leading supplier of process and packaging technology. We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Vision Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, completing, or optimizing vision system recipes for the inspection of pharmaceutical injectable medicines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine vision, Halcon, or Cognex, and experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies. They will also be responsible for working with COC on AI integration and custom vision applications, as well as performing machine installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

The Machine Vision Specialist will travel approximately 75% of the time, both domestically and internationally, to support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with customers at Syntegon facilities in Japan, Germany, or Denmark. They will also be responsible for training customer staff on the operation and maintenance of inspection, packaging, and assembly machines.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's of Science/Engineering Degree and a minimum of one year of application experience using Vision Systems. They will also have a valid driver's license and a passport or the ability to acquire one.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, completing, or optimizing vision system recipes for the inspection of pharmaceutical injectable medicines

  • Performing machine installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
