About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Campus Accounting team at Trilogy Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and verifying financial records, as well as preparing financial and statistical reports for a subset of assigned campuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Maintenance: Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation, analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, and review financial statements for proper accounting treatment of revenue and expense items.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate ad-hoc reporting and assist management with interpretation and analysis of such reports, engage with campus and home office leadership regarding monthly financial results, and communicate items impacting financial results.
  • Accounting Support: Partner with campus and home office personnel on accounting-related issues, participate in process efficiency projects, and prepare audit schedules and other reports for internal and external auditors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
  • Licenses and Certifications: CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, walk, and move intermittently during working hours, and lift at least 50lbs.
