Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Site HR Coordinator to join our team at Kenco Logistics Services, LLC. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for coordinating HR functions at the site level, providing support for various areas, and ensuring seamless execution of HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter new hire information into the HRIS system, adhering to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform weekly audits of timesheets for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process background checks and pre-employment screening activities, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations, educating employees on benefits, company policies, and procedures.
  • Manage site-based timeclocks, reporting performance issues and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Report on employee data, including financial and labor data, and review/audit invoice reports as needed.
  • Guide employees to complete electronic forms related to address, status, and benefit changes.
  • Assist in recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring/terminating, and training new employees.
  • Coordinate orders and requests with vendors for office equipment, supplies, and temporary personnel.
  • Communicate company announcements and updates to company policies, ensuring timely dissemination.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by site management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in progressive administrative support.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent years of experience within HR would be preferred.
  • HR/payroll systems experience preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as data entry and typing ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or employees.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and good people skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to manage small project assignments as necessary.
  • Ability to comprehend English.
