Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our technical service team at Bodorlaser Inc. in the US. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct support to customers, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure prompt resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, offering direct support for laser machines via various channels.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues of laser machines, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Monitor and address technical concerns and inquiries from customers.
  • Manage customer schedules to optimize laser usage effectively.
  • Conduct on-site mechanical repairs, coordinating parts procurement when necessary.
  • Interpret blueprints for equipment installation.
  • Maintain parts inventory and liaise with stakeholders to ensure availability.
  • Address machine safety issues and conduct customer training.
  • Prepare service and expense reports.
  • Analyze failures and recommend system upgrades.
  • Assist in project integration and commissioning.
  • Support with mechanical operations such as equipment loading/unloading.
  • Travel within assigned territories as required.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a relevant field with 2+ years' experience in CNC machines.
  • Hands-on experience in CNC machine installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and reading technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle pressure.
  • Willingness to travel and lift heavy objects.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in CNC or fiber laser machines.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
