Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Lead to join our team at SAIC. As a key member of our IT Service Management team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 deskside end user support, including imaging, deployment, asset management, and troubleshooting.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Escalate complex problems to upper-level deskside engineers.
  • Update status of queued service requests with the IT service management system.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • BA/BS degree
  • 10 or more years of experience in IT support
  • At least one of the following IAT Level II certifications: Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
  • At least one Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility for Operating System (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Solaris, etc.)
  • HDI Technical Support Professional certification within three months of job acceptance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Remedy and Service Now
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, MS Office Suite, Bomgar, VPN, SCCM, VTC, Zoom
