We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Public Administrator to join our team at St. Louis County. As a Deputy Public Administrator, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of assigned wards and protectees, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are protected.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of assigned wards and protectees, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are protected.
- Visit wards at their placement and ensure that placement is the least restrictive environment to appropriately meet their needs and level of care.
- Prepare and file Guardian Annual Status Reports with the Probate Court.
- Provide consent for placement or treatment by phone, email, and fax.
- Perform investigative work related to potential assets of the protectees' estates, including but not limited to securing real and personal property.
- Complete necessary applications and forms on behalf of the wards and protectees and ensure all bills are appropriately paid with authorization from the Probate Court.
- Maintain contact with wards, protectees, and their service providers by timely responding to emails, telephone calls, faxes, and all other correspondence.
- Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree and two years of related experience.
