Role Overview

The Lead IT Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the strategy, management, and enhancement of our Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and its associated processes. This position is crucial in guiding the PLM system operations, including mentoring and supporting team members. As part of the Product Value Chain (PVC) team, you will play a key role in optimizing integrated systems that drive product lifecycle management and product master data management (MDM) across our organization. You will also be instrumental in shaping our transition to cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a functional and technical analyst for the Agile PLM system, which includes various modules such as Agile Product Collaboration (PC) and Product Portfolio Management (PPM), with plans for future expansions.
  • Oversee the ongoing support and maintenance of Agile PLM modules and processes.
  • Develop and implement the PLM/PVC vision and strategy, focusing on the transition to Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Lead a team that provides daily system and application support, including user management and training.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy system configuration changes and workflows.
  • Mentor and guide IT team members involved in product value chain systems.
  • Provide leadership and clear communication to set expectations for the team.
  • Manage security models and related roles and privileges.
  • Oversee upgrades, patches, and new module implementations.
  • Monitor and optimize Agile servers and databases.
  • Support integrations of Product Value Chain systems.
  • Create reports to meet business requirements.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators to enhance processes and systems.
  • Support the alignment of product data models across systems.
  • Manage data cleansing and conversion initiatives.
  • Coordinate with managed services resources and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Agile Product Collaboration (PC) and related Agile modules.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in business process design with a focus on PLM or related fields.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Self-motivated team player capable of working independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Focus on system usability and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Java and Groovy Script is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite modules is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring IT teams is preferred.
