About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our Patient Access Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, addressing their questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Accurately and efficiently register patients, collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information.
  • Communicate patient responsibility and ensure accurate patient identification.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Applicable experience within Revenue Cycle and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably EPIC.
