Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As a key member of our Diagnostic Services department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all exams within personal licensed scope of practice
  • Demonstrate a complete working knowledge of all radiographic equipment used for diagnostic radiology and intra-procedural imaging
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information
  • Adhere to hospital policy on attendance, tardiness, dress code, infection control, and environmental standards
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Completed American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • One year Radiologic Technologist experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center setting
Work Schedule

We offer a variety of scheduling options, including part-time and full-time positions. Our weekend schedule may be changed to provide necessary coverage for holiday coverage on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
