Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will be responsible for performing duties associated with the operation of the Cath Lab, reporting to the Cath Lab Coordinator.

Responsibilities
  • Performs duties associated with the operation of the Cath Lab, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Reports to the Cath Lab Coordinator and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participates in training and education programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  • Adheres to hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality, safety, and quality care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology required.
  • Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) within 90 days of graduation.
  • CPR certified required; ACLS certified preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist with two years minimum experience in Special Procedures and/or Cardiac Cath preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Medium strength required.
  • Occasional carrying, frequent pushing, lifting, and pulling.
  • Constant standing, walking, and sitting.
