We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will be responsible for performing duties associated with the operation of the Cath Lab, reporting to the Cath Lab Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Performs duties associated with the operation of the Cath Lab, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Reports to the Cath Lab Coordinator and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participates in training and education programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality, safety, and quality care.
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology required.
- Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) within 90 days of graduation.
- CPR certified required; ACLS certified preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist with two years minimum experience in Special Procedures and/or Cardiac Cath preferred.
- Medium strength required.
- Occasional carrying, frequent pushing, lifting, and pulling.
- Constant standing, walking, and sitting.
