We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Rochester General Hospital. As a key member of our speech pathology department, you will be responsible for evaluating patient functional status, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the rehabilitation team to meet patient needs.

Job Summary

This per diem position is responsible for evaluating patient functional status, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the rehabilitation team to meet patient needs. You will also maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge status.

Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate patient functional status and develop personalized treatment plans

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology (MS)
  • Minimum of nine months of supervised work experience or participation in a clinical fellowship program
  • One year of experience working with frail elderly populations preferred

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, with frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $66,560 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
