Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, tailored to students' specific needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and technology in speech-language pathology.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university, as well as a valid Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).

Candidates should also hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), although this is not required. Additionally, New York State certification in Speech-Language Pathology, issued by the Office of Teaching Initiatives, is necessary for school-based work.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a school-based setting and be able to effectively assess and implement evidence-based therapy practices.

A background check and fingerprint clearance, as well as current CPR and First Aid certification, are also required for this position.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
