Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathologists' Assistant to join our team in our busy anatomic pathology laboratory on the day shift.

The successful candidate will work closely with pathologists to perform accessioning, dissection, description, and histologic sampling of surgical specimens. A strong understanding of gross room pathology procedures, protocols, and techniques is essential for this role.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$135,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and life insurance, retirement planning, tuition assistance, and wellness programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform or assist in accessioning, dissection, description, and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical specimens
  • Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment
  • Maintain lab safety and infection prevention standards

Skill Requirements:

  • Dexterity and good eye-hand coordination required for collecting and preparing specimens
  • Knowledge of quality standards and requirements for pathology specimen photographs
