Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Automotive Store Leader is responsible for overseeing and directing daily operations within the store, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

KEY FUNCTIONS

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Identifies and resolves customer inquiries and issues in a professional manner.
  • Collaborates with the service department to ensure customer needs are accurately diagnosed and addressed.
  • Promotes and sells automotive products and services that meet customer requirements.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and competitor services.
  • Builds trust and rapport with customers through integrity and exceptional service.
  • Prepares precise estimates and billing for services rendered.

Operational Management:

  • Prioritizes daily tasks to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Works closely with the Service Manager to coordinate daily operations.
  • Analyzes performance data to inform operational decisions and enhance productivity.
  • Manages store expenses and inventory effectively.
  • Oversees daily store functions, including security and financial procedures.
  • Trains and motivates staff to achieve high performance.
  • Handles employee evaluations and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
  • Addresses customer complaints and operational challenges with professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates will possess the following:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma is required, along with two to four years of relevant experience in automotive sales, customer service, or retail management.

LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to interpret safety regulations and operational guidelines. Proficient in writing reports and communicating effectively with diverse groups.

MATHEMATICAL & ANALYTICAL SKILLS

Competence in basic arithmetic and problem-solving in various scenarios.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to stand for extended periods, lift items up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks that involve bending and crouching.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employees may encounter exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. Extended hours and occasional weekend work may be necessary.
