Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management
    • Coordinate the upkeep of building, grounds, and production equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
    • Implement and maintain effective housekeeping practices to promote a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintenance Operations
    • Oversee the coordination of utilities, including water, steam, electricity, natural gas, compressed air, and waste disposal.
    • Support project launch strategy and ensure timely completion and implementation of projects.
    • Achieve goals and objectives relating to cost and timing, and meet project expectations and requirements for all elements of PPAP, QS9000, and other relevant programs.
  • Safety and Quality
    • Conduct daily safety checks and ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
    • Investigate accidents and initiate corrective action to prevent future incidents.
    • Train and encourage employees to follow safe work practices and promote a culture of safety within the team.
    • Support quality, environmental, and 5S programs to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency in our operations.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
    • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees to support their growth and development.
    Requirements
    • An Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical technology is required.
    • Five or more years of related experience, including supervisor experience in the maintenance area.
    • Must be open and available to work any shift.
    • Work experience in a union plant environment is preferred.
