The Proposal Writer will be a key member of our proposal center, supporting high-priority bids. This role requires collaboration with various levels of Xenith employees and management. The successful candidate will write technical, management, and plans sections of complex proposals for Federal Government customers. This position involves developing the 'why us' message, outlining and organizing material, identifying and refining re-use material, interviewing SMEs, writing various proposal sections, and incorporating key messages and themes.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and develop proposal outlines and schedules.
  • Analyze solicitation documents to identify proposal requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance guidelines.
  • Lead proposal development activities, including writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading proposal content.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical staff to gather information and develop technical solutions that align with client needs.
  • Ensure proposals are compliant with all RFP requirements and reflect a thorough understanding of the client's objectives and evaluation criteria.
  • Manage the proposal submission process, including assembling proposal materials, coordinating reviews, and meeting submission deadlines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal development processes, templates, and best practices.
