We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimating Coordinator to join our team at Primoris. As an Estimating Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the preparation and submission of bids for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in soliciting subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they meet project-specific criteria for prequalification.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors for future and current bid opportunities.
  • Research and contact new vendors, subcontractors, and material suppliers for proposals.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to create comprehensive timelines and ensure accurate bid preparation.
  • Review bid documents, specifications, and project-related information, and distribute this information to the estimating team.
  • Prepare bid instructions, bid forms, and bid scopes for subcontracts and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date estimating information, and promptly relay new project-specific RFP information to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Follow up with subcontractors and vendors to confirm their willingness to participate in project pursuits.
  • Receive, upload, and maintain subcontractor and vendor proposals in our database.
  • Provide quantity take-offs and assist senior estimators in cost estimating.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an estimating or administrative role within the construction industry.
  • Document control experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Bluebeam.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
