Job Title: Construction Project Engineer

Join Primoris Services Corporation, a leading provider of construction, maintenance, and engineering services, as a Construction Project Engineer. In this role, you will play a critical part in the success of our projects, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Job Summary

The Construction Project Engineer will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating engineering activities with stakeholders, including engineering subcontractors, owners, and construction teams. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently to meet deadlines and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the engineering representative at project meetings and stakeholder engagements.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders to ensure engineering deliverables meet customer needs and contractual requirements.
  • Enable timely delivery of engineering deliverables compliant with contract documents.
  • Facilitate constructability and design efficiency discussions with engineering subcontractors.
  • Take ownership of project engineering-related matters to meet project objectives and milestones.
  • Manage document control systems, including RFIs and Submittals, per company standards.
  • Manage and mentor field engineers in support of construction activities to achieve on-time completion.
  • Support change management with scope definitions and estimating.
  • Ensure all work products are consistent with industry codes and standards and in accordance with good engineering practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or similar discipline from a four-year college or university.
  • At least 5+ years' related EPC experience and/or training, specifically in power generation or renewables.
  • Understanding of document control systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and 3D Model Review software.
  • Read and review proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to support the team to ensure that nobody gets injured.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
