Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Staff Member to join our team at Obsidian Solutions Group LLC. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and other special operations units, ensuring that all Marines and Sailors engaged in training and exercises are trained to the highest standards of readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with active-duty Marines, Sailors, and other service members to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of MARSOC and other special operations units.
  • Work closely with the FMPX and JNAT program managers, unit operations and training chiefs, and other stakeholders to align exercise, training, and education program materials and methods with stated objectives.
  • Conduct and review course and program elements, making recommendations and adjustments as necessary to ensure that training programs are effective and efficient.
  • Train as a JNAT Instructor and integrate JNAT tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) into exercise and operational design.
  • Support the planning and execution of exercises, education, and training events, including coordination of instructor and student materials, evaluations, and alternate learning methods.
Requirements
  • Must have knowledge and skills in instructional design theories and analytical and evaluative methods and techniques.
  • Past performance in directly supporting U.S. Marine Special Operations Command units and formal schools is required.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills, as well as self-motivation and a high level of discretion to work effectively with others.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Past performance as a USMARSOC instructor, teaching, or related field and 5 years of related work experience is required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Garrison work environment, including routine field/tactical environments, occasional extended working hours, and a schedule of M-F 0700 to 1700 with some reverse operations.
  • Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination, up to 15-25%.
