Vantage Search Group is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring and Assessment: Perform continuous fetal monitoring, vital signs, and assessments to ensure the health and well-being of patients.
- Patient Care: Provide individualized care to patients, including pain management, emotional support, and education on pregnancy and childbirth.
- Medical Procedures: Assist with inductions, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections, as well as perform lab draws and administer medications.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Education: Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited agency.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a Labor and Delivery Unit within the past 5 years.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license from any state.
- Certifications: Possess current AHA or ARC BLS/ACLS certifications and a NRP certificate.
