Production Verification Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Verification Technician to join our team at Supernal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the inspection, assembly, repair, and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics, electrical (high and low voltage), mechanical, and instrumentation systems on rotorcraft in support of Test and Evaluation Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect components as they are received in accordance with drawings, technical documentation, and industry standards.
  • Perform detailed measurements utilizing various simple and complex measurement tools.
  • Test electronic components and circuits to locate defects, using signal generators, amp meters, and voltmeters and other measurement equipment.
  • Read and interpret various aircraft drawings, schematics, reports, or specifications.
  • Utilize various test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, electronic bridges, loop calibrators) and hand tools.
  • Complete all written and electronic records (work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) required to document the work in progress and as it is completed.
  • Work directly with engineering and operations to resolve problems.
  • Maintain a clean working environment at all times.
  • Be familiar with standard and non-standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the aviation field.
  • Perform build-up and maintenance of test articles, ensuring that quality objectives, configuration control, and conformity requirements are met.
  • May require up to 10% of international and domestic travel.
Requirements:
  • Minimum GED or HS diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience as an aviation technician; minimum three (3) years quality assurance experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Willing to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Rotorcraft experience preferred.
  • Experimental flight test experience preferred.
  • Airframe and power plant license preferred.
