Job Summary

Apple is seeking an experienced Design Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design verification group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Analog/Digital mixed-signal designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement verification methodologies and test plans for Analog/Digital mixed-signal designs
  • Design and develop verification environments, including stimulus and checkers, to ensure comprehensive coverage of design functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of verification results into the design process
  • Develop and maintain detailed test and coverage plans to ensure bug-free first silicon
  • Execute verification plans, including design bring-up, DV environment bring-up, regression enabling, and debug of test failures
  • Develop and track metrics to measure verification progress and ensure quality and reliability of designs

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in design verification, with a focus on Analog/Digital mixed-signal designs
  • Strong knowledge of verification methodologies and tools, including simulators, waveform viewers, build/run automation, coverage collection, and gate-level simulations
  • Experience with serial protocols such as PCIe or USB
  • Excellent knowledge of one of the scripting languages: Python, Perl, or TCL
  • Validated knowledge of formal verification methodology
  • BS degree in a technical discipline
