Athletic Training Specialist

Responsibilities:
* Assist with athletic training room operations, including prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries to student-athletes in the sport of Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country.
* Provide practice and game coverage, as well as required travel with the team.
* Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other staff members to ensure the best possible care for our student-athletes.
* Develop and implement injury prevention and treatment plans, as well as provide education and guidance to student-athletes on proper training and recovery techniques.
Requirements:
* Professional degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree from a CAATE accredited program).
* Two years relevant full-time experience required.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills essential.
* BOC / NATA certification and ability to obtain Nebraska State licensure required.
* Emergency response certification (CPR, basic life support) required.
* Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Two years experience providing treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to student-athletes in NCAA Division I.
* Two years experience covering track & field/cross country program in NCAA Division I.
