Territory Sales Manager

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and manage established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the foodservice industry and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities- Foster strong customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the order process.
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Foodservice industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
- Problem-solving ability and organization and negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and experience using customer relationship management tools.
The Territory Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently outside the office, visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the physical activities required for the job, including standing, walking, driving, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
