Job Overview

Trotter Workforce is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Installation Technician to join our team.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including full medical coverage, PTO, and holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities

As a Fire Alarm Installation Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing fire alarm systems
  • Collaborating with a team to ensure all fire alarms are functioning properly and meet safety and building codes
  • Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems
  • Knowledge of fire alarm control panels and devices
  • An understanding of UL, NFPA, IBC, and local fire codes
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Certifications in fire alarm installation, such as NICET or equivalent, are preferred
