About the Role

As a Fire Alarm Installation Specialist at Trotter Workforce, you will work independently and as part of a team to install fire alarm systems that meet or exceed industry standards. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, ensuring that all fire alarms installed are functioning properly and adhering to safety and building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, test, and repair fire alarm systems to ensure they function correctly and meet industry standards.
  • Work with a team to ensure all fire alarms installed are functioning properly and adhering to safety and building codes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any faulty equipment.

Requirements

  • Experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm control panels and devices.
  • Understanding of UL, NFPA, IBC, and local fire codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications in fire alarm installation, such as NICET or equivalent, are preferred.
