Job Title: Procurement Analyst III

Join the City of New York's team as a Procurement Analyst III in the Bureau of Wastewater Treatment's Goods and Services Procurement Section. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for procuring equipment, goods, and services for our facilities, managing the Bureau's bank account, and handling payments for BWT personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, approve, and process purchase requisitions submitted by BWT locations.
  • Prepare and distribute grub checks for Marine Operations and monthly bank account reconciliation reports.
  • Track and report on fuel oil delivery and expenses.
  • Monitor and manage Bureau FMS interface.
  • Prepare, update, and submit monthly procurement-related reports.
  • Track all BWT's purchase requisitions.
  • Administer purchasing training classes for field personnel.
  • Process reimbursement requests for personal expenses and monthly grub check benefits.
Requirements:
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and six months of satisfactory full-time professional experience in procurement of goods, services, construction, or construction-related services, or professional, technical, or administrative experience in contract negotiation/management.
  • An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college, and 18 months of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described above.
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and two and one-half years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described above.
  • A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above.
