Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist III

At ICL, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist III to join our team. This role is a key member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, working closely with individuals who have serious and persistent mental illness to support their personal recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain healthy working relationships with individuals, engaging them in their setting and providing support to address their basic needs.
  • Collaborate with the individual and the rest of the treatment team to obtain/maintain housing, food, clothing, and other essential services.
  • Provide crisis intervention services 24/7, working to ensure the individual's safety and well-being in the community.
  • Participate in the provision of evidence-based treatment modalities and symptom-reduction strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a professional and culturally responsive approach.
  • Make sound clinical decisions in times of crisis, prioritizing the individual's needs and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use, homelessness, and criminal justice involvement.
