Medical Records Clerk Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Quality Correctional Health Care. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential medical records for our patients. Your attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Issue medical files to authorized personnel and agencies.
  • Assist with departmental audits and investigations.
  • Distribute medical charts to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records by following company procedures.
  • Ensure patient charts, paperwork, and reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Protect and maintain the confidentiality of medical records.
  • File all patients' medical records and information.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced understanding of medical terminology and administration processes.
  • Proficient in information management programs and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
