Sarnova HC, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Credit and Customer Billing department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely payments.
Key Responsibilities- Create new customer accounts in our ERP system, including reviewing credit worthiness and conducting thorough background checks.
- Investigate and validate new shipping addresses to ensure accurate delivery of products.
- Conduct fraud reviews on various order types to prevent potential losses.
- Validate and index sales tax exemption certificates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor group email inboxes and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform customer reactivations, address changes, invoice copy requests, credit reference requests, and process returned mail.
- Assist with other related clerical duties, such as copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
- Provide administrative support to the Credit and Customer Billing department, including back-up phone coverage for the Customer Billing phone queue.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an integrated accounting system.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Customer service-orientated.
- Sense of accountability for results and the results of the Customer Billing team.
- Goal-centered motivation; results-driven.
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to serve the customer and help meet department goals.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Desire to belong to a team and to contribute to the success of the larger organization.
- Ability to communicate any issues or problems with a supervisor on a timely basis.
