Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management

The Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management will lead the identification, measurement, and management of company-wide risk, manage insurance procurement, develop and implement risk management policies and procedures, and manage claims covered under the League's insurance program.
Responsibilities:- Insurance Program Management: Develop, procure, and administer a comprehensive League-wide insurance program, including identifying and measuring all forms of risk, conducting functional and integrated risk assessments, and working closely with brokers and insurance markets to manage procurement of all insurance programs.
- Litigation and Claims Management: Track and manage athlete Workers' Compensation programs, establish a League-wide claims management process, perform deductible reserves analysis, manage outside counsel on insurable claims, and update monthly claims/loss ratios.
- Policy Development: Provide a framework for managing and governing risk and control activities, advise on insurance and indemnification provisions, and review high-volume contracts to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in risk management, claims management, and other insurance experience

- Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of the Spanish language (business proficiency)
- Knowledge of the sport of soccer
- Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Total Rewards:
Starting Base Salary: $145,000 - $185,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors, including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
