The Technical Solutions Sales Specialist - Cloud and Managed Services role at D and H Distributing Co is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical acumen, sales expertise, and customer service skills. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving pipeline opportunity creation with our sales teams, supporting the operational and sales aspects of our managed services offering, and providing technical sales support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Communication and Relationship Building: Articulate the D and H Distributing Co strategy and value proposition to customers and partners, and build strong relationships with existing and potential partners to drive revenue opportunities.
- Technical Acumen and Sales Support: Maintain high-level business and technical acumen related to cloud and managed services technologies, and provide technical sales support to customers and sales teams.
- Results-Oriented and Metric Management: Demonstrate strong drive for results and success, and achieve key metrics including phone activity, ticket performance, customer reporting, and sales opportunity assistance.
- Campaign Execution and Operational Support: Execute technical sales support activities as assigned for sales and marketing campaigns, and review and manage ticket queues, SLA performance, response times, and quality of managed services delivery.
- Collaboration and Delivery Partner Management: Work in tandem with the D and H Distributing Co sales organization, cross-departmentally, and with targeted managed services and cloud vendor resources to coordinate, develop, and win sales opportunities.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent industry experience, such as HDI, ITIL, or A+ certification.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010-Office365, Windows 7-11, Active Directory, VPN, and other relevant technologies.
- Helpdesk Experience: 3+ years of helpdesk experience in a call center environment, and 2+ years as a helpdesk team lead in an ITIL service desk.
- Telesales Process and Pipeline Management: Experience with telesales process and pipeline management, and ability to qualify and prioritize business opportunities.
- Professionalism and Communication: Represent D and H Distributing Co professionally in daily interactions with customers and vendors, and possess strong presentation and communication skills.
- Technical Acumen and Problem-Solving: Possess strong technical acumen and analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to think and work creatively to develop joint value propositions.
- Results-Oriented and Self-Motivated: Demonstrate strong drive for results and success, and possess self-motivation with good time management skills.
