Building Services Manager

Job Summary
The Building Services Manager is a key member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repairs
- Ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained and in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety or security issues.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all major building systems.
- Facilities Management
- Coordinate all furniture acquisitions and maintenance to ensure a consistent and professional environment.
- Plan and implement a regular cleaning schedule for the building.
- Order and manage cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Security and Emergency Response
- Serve as the primary contact for the alarm monitoring company.
- Maintain fire evacuation plans and conduct drills as required by law.
- Ensure elevators are properly inspected and licensed.
- Event Support
- Provide temporary staff to cover maintenance and food preparation services for scheduled events.
- Arrange airport pick-up and transportation for event attendees.
- Coordinate setup and cleanup for scheduled events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in facilities management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
