About the Role

As an Administrative Assistant - HR at Tri-County Child and Family, you will play a critical role in supporting our Human Resources department. You will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the HR Director, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Director with recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with payroll processing, workers' compensation, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  2. 2+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
  3. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA and ADA.
  4. Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and HR software (e.g., Bamboo HR, ADP).
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  7. Valid Iowa Driver's License and proof of insurance required.
  8. Cleared to work in a childcare setting by completing a State of Iowa Criminal History Record Check and FBI National Fingerprint Record Check.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
