HOA Specialist Job Description

At Tricon Residential, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HOA Specialist to join our team. As an HOA Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HOA transactions, ensuring that all accounts are up-to-date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coding and reconciling HOA invoices with the general ledger
  • Communicating with HOAs via phone and email to obtain necessary documentation
  • Assisting the HOA Operations department with payment of City Violations and rental registrations/business licenses
  • Creating new HOA vendors and updating current HOA vendors
  • Reviewing HOA mail for pertinent updates and communicating with Operations about valid resident charge backs
  • Uploading weekly payment backup into software for SOX compliance
  • Mailing HOA payments and processing returned checks
  • Monthly review of the company's HOA database
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Yardi accounting platform a major plus
  • Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables, basic to intermediate formulaic abilities, and look-up functions
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounting
  • 1-2 years of related HOA experience, including familiarity with CC&R Compliance and violation avoidance
  • Ability to problem-solve, research, and summarize, as well as manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines

Tricon Residential is committed to creating a workplace where every individual is valued for their unique contributions, experiences, voices, and backgrounds. We offer a competitive salary range of $44,000 to $66,520, depending on experience and qualifications.
