Job Title: Integration Specialist

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist to join our Falcon Transport Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental health of payloads during transport operations and maintaining the payload transport Environmental Control System.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the health of all payloads during transport operations
  • Develop and execute processes to meet transporter configuration requirements
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally to understand transporter configuration requirements
  • Maintain the Environment Control System for our transporter
  • Support flight hardware movements as needed
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, equipment, and the work environment
  • Maintain calibrated and non-calibrated tool inventories
  • Collaborate with engineering staff from other departments and SpaceX locations to resolve off-nominal issues
  • Maintain clear communication with engineering, technician, and logistics teams
  • Assist production teams with corrective actions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical and hands-on environment
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or production, including complex fluid and/or mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Urgency to complete and improve mundane tasks that require expertise and attention to detail
  • Self-starter that is able to find projects without direction to improve efficiency on the floor
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of high pressure pneumatic, hydraulic and cryogenic fluids systems
  • Understanding of fluids system schematics and procedures related to launch operations
  • Able to be diplomatic with a variety of individuals across the organizational infrastructure
  • Knowledge of mechanical hardware (fluid fittings, fasteners, etc.)
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to pass Air Force background check for Vandenberg Space Force Base
  • Ability to get a security clearance
  • Must be willing to travel at least 10% of schedule to other SpaceX locations
  • Must be flexible with working hours
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay range: $44.00/hour - $66.00/hour. Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation & will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year.
