Job Overview

Position Summary:
This role is a temporary contractor opportunity with Novartis, a global leader in healthcare impacting millions of lives worldwide.

About the Role:
As a key member of the Technical Development team, you will oversee and drive current and future projects in Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT). Your expertise will contribute to interdisciplinary technical development efforts within the broader CGT organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments, develop protocols, analyze data, and prepare technical reports.
- Provide scientific and technical leadership to ensure efficient and robust processes for the manufacture and analysis of drug substances and products.
- Present scientific findings at internal and external meetings and publish in reputable international journals.
- Play a pivotal role in teams, projects, and departmental initiatives, ensuring adherence to project milestones and quality standards.
- Contribute to risk assessments and participate in process challenge meetings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year in Immunology or Cell Therapy.
- Strong understanding of CAR-T manufacturing processes and a proven track record in immunology and cell biology.
- Demonstrated ability to foster innovation and solve complex problems within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.

Location:
Position available in a hybrid/onsite format.
