Position Overview

We are looking for a driven Security Assurance Manager to become a vital part of our evidence management team. In this position, you will engage with our most security-sensitive clients and internal security partners.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with audit teams who specialize in various frameworks to deliver evidence artifacts that address key risk objectives and strategically tackle compliance challenges.

Furthermore, you will need to comprehend AWS's operational and technical control environment, utilizing sound judgment to effectively communicate our control posture to global customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on AWS security controls.
  • Oversee the evidence lifecycle for global customer audits across multiple regions.
  • Communicate key risks and program improvement areas to leadership while fostering diverse opinions and coordinating enhancement efforts.
  • Deep dive into the AWS control environment to gain a comprehensive understanding of control activities and their implementation.
  • Facilitate communication between key stakeholders and AWS technical teams regarding control implementation.
  • Assess the effectiveness of compliance program activities and recommend improvements for scalable delivery.
  • Lead and manage projects with strong project management skills.
  • Establish operational mechanisms to address recurring challenges.
  • Articulate the vision connecting technology with business strategies and requirements.
  • Report on the status and key deliverables of team initiatives to senior leadership, seeking diverse opinions and leading improvement efforts.
  • Explore AWS compliance programs to enhance understanding of regulatory and customer expectations, driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize high judgment to distill diverse inputs from various customer segments and stakeholders to design effective long-term solutions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Accounting/Auditing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in security, audits, customer trust, control assessments, or risk assessments.
  • 5+ years of experience in assessing complex technical processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of cloud computing services and architecture.
  • Experience in monitoring and automating security controls.
  • Experience in audit examinations.
  • High judgment and risk decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in technical assessments and documentation of security processes.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
