This position involves the timely and precise preparation of food items for various kitchen areas, including the main kitchen, pantry, and production zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a warm and welcoming demeanor consistently.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Listen attentively to and clarify any concerns raised by guests and team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet operational deadlines.
- Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-focused manner.
- Participate in all required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company standards, adapting to the hotel’s scheduling needs.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
- Adhere to company standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
- Maximize productivity efforts, identify areas for improvement, and assist in implementing solutions.
- Effectively manage challenges, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Understand and apply complex information from various sources to achieve objectives.
- Be willing to cross-train in other hotel-related functions.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Demonstrate initiative by anticipating the needs of guests and operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hospitality or related field.
- Previous culinary experience is essential.
- Physical Requirements:
- Flexibility to work long hours as needed.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to tolerate temperature variations, both hot and cold.
