Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Laboratory Resources Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving and stocking supplies, and resolving issues with vendors. Additionally, the candidate will assist with supply orders, complete monthly reports, and process laboratory records and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels for all laboratory departments.
- Receive and stock supplies, and reconcile packing slips.
- Resolve issues with vendors and other entities.
- Assist with supply orders by entering into the HSS ordering system.
- Complete monthly reports and process laboratory records and reports.
- Assist with obtaining demographic information for STD reports and distribute/files as required.
- Perform miscellaneous duties such as copying, scanning, printing, and organization of files.
- Work as a team member to perform and complete all assignments.
- Continuing education and development - attend, listen by tape, or read material of 10-12 in-house educational programs per year.
- Practice safety, infection control, and security as defined by the hospital department and section policy and procedure manuals.
- Follow and adhere to HIPAA laws and regulations, and privacy & confidentiality laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No experience required.
- No licenses, registrations, or certifications required.
Work Schedule: 2PM - 10:30PM
Work Type: Full-Time
