Job Description

Government Contracting / Director of Bidding & Solicitation Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage GSA submissions, compliance, maintenance, and audits
  • Handle municipal and state registrations, bid network registrations, and maintenance of registrations and sites
  • Research and complete bid service registrations
  • Review bids from government organizations and bid services, determining which to submit
  • Prepare proposals and responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs within compliance guidelines
  • Assemble and process bid submissions, keeping the territory rep and other players informed
  • Track and communicate bid results
  • Serve as a resource for the Sales Team on sales, proposals, resellers, and contract activities
  • Review and manage opportunities within Dynamics CRM
  • Create communications regarding client contract issues
  • File and maintain contractual records and documentation
  • Identify and implement changes to improve contract submission effectiveness and efficiency
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements
  • Monitor competitive terms and customer satisfaction with our terms and conditions
  • Communicate with business partners, consultants, and resellers to maintain positive relationships
  • Prepare progress reports, milestone charts, and timelines as required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in government contracting in a similar role
  • Government contracting experience required
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience working with all levels of management and resources
  • Resourceful and able to balance multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, high growth environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build effective working relations
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with Dynamics CRM
  • Bachelor's Degree (required)

This is a full-time in-person position at our Mount Pleasant, SC or Atlanta, GA location.

Salary commensurate on experience.
