Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Driver to join our team at Recology King County - Operations. As a Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of materials to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections on assigned vehicles.
  • Operate vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all safety measures are consistently applied.
  • Load materials according to normal operating procedures and report any violations to supervisors.
  • Ensure hazardous materials are not accepted and that materials being transported comply with legal load limits.
  • Report accidents and safety violations to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
  • Maintain good customer relations and positively influence the community's perception of the Company.
Requirements
  • 6 months or more of commercial driving experience.
  • Principles and practices of job site safety, potential job hazards, and state and local regulations.
  • Basic computer programs.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid Class B Driver's License.
