Waste Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Driver to join our team at Recology King County - Operations. As a Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of materials to our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections on assigned vehicles.
- Operate vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all safety measures are consistently applied.
- Load materials according to normal operating procedures and report any violations to supervisors.
- Ensure hazardous materials are not accepted and that materials being transported comply with legal load limits.
- Report accidents and safety violations to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
- Maintain good customer relations and positively influence the community's perception of the Company.
- 6 months or more of commercial driving experience.
- Principles and practices of job site safety, potential job hazards, and state and local regulations.
- Basic computer programs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class B Driver's License.
