Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise as a Teradata Developer, particularly in the realm of regulatory reporting, with a specific emphasis on FR Y-14Q reporting.
  • Extensive proficiency in Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT).
  • Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices, especially in relation to regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with ETL tools and methodologies, such as Informatica or Talend, for the integration of regulatory data.
  • Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into effective design.
  • Proficient in coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, managing timelines, and providing timely updates - showcasing strong project management capabilities.
  • Solid foundation in Teradata concepts and logical/physical database architecture.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and optimization for processing large volumes of data within Teradata.
  • Experience in SQL programming (views, stored procedures, macros, functions) tailored to user requirements and architectural standards.
  • Good grasp of Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Proficient in writing Unix Shell scripts.
  • A Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of [3] years of relevant experience in Teradata development with a concentration on regulatory reporting.
